 Q. Write briefly about Bloodless revolution or Bhoodan.

Ans- Bhoodan or 'bloodless revolution' introduced by Vinobha bhave. It is based on redistribution of  farm-lands to poor landless farmers for their economic well-being. It is started when poor landless farmers or peasants demanded some land for their economic well-being and unexpectedly Shri Ram Chandra Reddy(landowner) offered 80 acres of land to be distributed among 80 landless villegers. This act is known as BHOODAN or BLOODLESS REVOLUTION.
Q. What do you mean by the term 'Green Revolution'?
Ans- Green revolution used to descibe the spectacular increase in the production of foodgrains in India. It has been large-scale use of high yeilding variety of seeds and the development of surface and ground water irrigation. Large scale use of fertilisers, insectisides and pesticides,landreforms,rural electrification and farm mechanisations has caused Green Revolution.
Q.What are millets and why are they callled coarse grains? Give some examples and areas they are grown in?
Ans- Jowar,bajra and ragi are the important millets grown in India.These are known as coarse grains but they have very nutritional value.
1. JOWAR-Maharastra is the largest producer of jowar followed by Karnataka,Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
2. Bajra- Rajasthan is the largest producer of bajra followed by Uttar Pradesh,Maharashtra,Gujarat and Haryana.
3.Ragi- Karnataka is the largest producer of Ragi followed by TamilNadu.Apart from these states,Himachal Pradesh,Uttarakhand,,Sikkim,Jharkhand and Arunachal Pradesh are also important for the production of ragi.

Disorder in children:Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

  You may observe many times that some children are hyperactive, impulsive and inattentive rather than their same age. These symptoms are often associated with Attention Deficit  Hyperactivity Disorder. What is Attention  Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder(ADHD)? ADHD is a hyperkinetic disorder based on Maladaptively  high levels of impulsivity, hyperactivity and inattention. They are all based on observations about how children behave. Down Syndrome in Special Education

   What is Down   Syndrome?  In condition of down syndrome or down's syndrome a baby born with an extra chromosome of their 21st chromosome, it is also known as Trisomy 21.              In child with down syndrome, one of the chromosome doesn't separate properly. The baby ends up with 3 copies or an extra partial copy of chromosome 21 instead of two. This extra chromosome causes problems the brain and physical features to develop.
