Ans-  childhood is the age span between birth to adolescence.

Early Childhood- Play Age / pre-school age( 2-6 years).

Late Childhood- School Age( 6-12 years). 

2. When do children lose baby fat?

Ans-During early childhood stage,children lose their baby fat,their legs grow longer and thinner,and they move around the world with increasing dexterity.

Ans- Adolescence is the development period of transition from child to early adulthood. It is a transitional stage of physical and psychological human development that generally occurs during the period from puberty to adulthood.

THERE ARE THREE MAIN STAGES OF OF ADOLESCENCE-

1. EARLY ADOLESCENCE-

Early adolescence characteristics by a spurt of growth and the development of secondary sexual characteristics.Early adolescence is the first stage and occurs from ages 10 to 14. Puberty usually begins in this stage. People in this stage become aware of their rapidly changing bodies and start to worry about their physical appearance. They might experience shyness, blushing, modesty and a greater interest in privacy.

Physical Changes-

Gains in height and weight.

Growth of public and underarm hair.

Body sweats more.

Hair and skin become more oily.

Breast development and menstruation in girls.

Growth of testicles and penis.

Nocturnal emissions ( wet dreams)

Deepening of voice 

Growth of hair on face in boys.

MID ADOLESCENCE (14-19 YEARS)

Middle adolescence is the second stage and occurs from ages 14-15. By this time, puberty has passed. Teens in this stage are extremely concerned with hoe they look, and they think others are concerned too.

They spend a large amount of time grooming, exercising and modifying their physical appearance.

Physical Changes-

Continued height and weight gains and same changers occurs as early adolescence stage.

LATE ADOLESCENCE- 

At this stage, adolescents have fully developed physical characteristics and have formed a distinct identity and have well-formed opinions and ideas.

Physical Changes

Most girls fully developed.

Boys continue to gain height, weight muscle mass and body hair.
